MBBS in Russia
MBBS in Russia is a six-year degree program that offers a specialized bachelor's degree in general medicine. In recent years it has been growing as an alternative option for all doctors who are unable to get admission to a good Indian Medical College. More than 53 Russian universities offering MBBS degrees are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI) to complete MBBS abroad and train in India. According to the MCI rule, all students going abroad to study MBBS must qualify for the NEED exam.
Most Russian universities do not require a language test such as TOEFL / IELTS or an entrance exam. However, your CBSE / ISC 12th results must be at least 50% (in PCB) or higher. Tuition fees at some popular universities range from 193,000 to 874,000 Russian rubles a year. 1.9 lakh to 8.8 lakh per annum for Indian students. Graduates must obtain an MBBS degree in Russia and go through the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) to train legally in India.

Admission process for MBBS in Russia
Russian universities have a very simple admission procedure for Indian students. Anyone with a senior high school certificate as a compulsory subject in biology and chemistry is eligible to apply. Some universities do not even require a minimum percentage. Therefore, when planning to study abroad, Russia is a great choice to get an MBBS degree.
Students must appear for the entrance examination conducted by some Russian universities to join the MBBS program. However, like other medical exams like NEED and MCAD, they are non-competitive and the questions are designed to test student's basic knowledge in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and English.
